Combining Rock-en-Español with 70s-style punk, garage and new wave, Estos Gritos formed in the crucible of the 2020 New York City Covid-19 shut down. Venezuelan natives José Miguel Lopez and Alvaro Benavides enlisted Chris Stromquist to craft an album of punk-styled songs based on Lopez’s poetry. After two singles, the band returns with a triumphant debut album recorded in New York City.
